The most inspirational woman we are honoured and proud to call “Our Queen” Mrs Mary Barker (nee Hutton) passed over the sunset surrounded by her devoted family on December 1st aged 80 years. The adored wife of Mac, loving mam of Malcolm, Gary and Dianne, nana, great nana, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, auntie, great auntie, cousin, God mother and a dear friend to many. Friends please meet on Monday December 18th for a service in St Michael & All Angels Parish Church, Easington Lane at 12 noon. Interment to follow in Hetton Cemetery at 1.00pm. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Vic to continue the celebration of Mary’s life. Everyone is welcome to wear an item of lemon / yellow in tribute to Mary. Flowers welcome or donations in lieu kindly received for the work of the Stroke Association. A donation box will be available in the church.
