Dearest Eric you were as everyone says a true gentleman such a special friend to us, we will miss your lovely smile, your laugh, your endless cups of tea whilst Mel and I put the world to rights. Like Carolyn and Andy have already said Mel will have all the help she will need at the van. Sure going to miss you Eric, rest in peace our lovely friend you will be so very much missed. Well Eric just want to say “ it was an absolute pleasure to know you , you were one true gentleman, my heart is breaking knowing we will not see you again , I promise you we will look after Mel and ensure she gets help with the van , Andy will do the cleaning and sweeping round the van lol , you rest in peace, sleep tight, you will always be with us , love you to the moon and back , Carolyn and Andy xxxxx

Morning Eric it's only me your caravan mate. Putting the world to rights or our never ending conversations about football will live with me forever. Sharing a pint in the Seacroft bar and what about that game of snooker. You were so brave and dignified in your battle, don't worry about Mel she will be well looked after. it's only me eric your adopted daughter , i can't put into words how devastated i am but i will look after our nic for you , thank you for the best bacon cobs , ham bagguetts , football car rides and everything inbetween, you literally treated me like your own , you have left a hole that can never be filled with everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you , an absolute legend and one of the most amazing people you could know , sleep tight eric love me xx
