At peace now after a long illness on November 23rd aged 73 years, Rita (nee Hay). The dearly loved wife of Dave. A much loved mam of David, Allison and Andrew. A loved mother-in-law of Dawn, David and Erica. A loving sister, sister-in-law, auntie, cousin, friend to many and a devoted nana and great nana. Friends please meet on Wednesday December 13th for a service in the Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 11.45am. Committal to follow in Durham Crematorium at 1.00pm. All are welcome afterwards to The Mill Inn, Houghton-Le-Spring (DH5 8NG) for refreshments. Flowers welcome or donations in lieu kindly received for the work of Dog Charities to be chosen by the family. A donation box will be available in the church.
