In loving memory of Winnie (Wyn) Hawkins who sadly passed away on 29th October 2023 aged 91.
Wyn was a much-loved mum, nan/nanny, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, work colleague and neighbour. She had a long and active life, working until she was 62 followed by 30 years of busy retirement. Wyn was known for her positivity, honesty and energy and these traits continued even when she reached her 90s. Golf was her big passion - one she shared with her late husband Jim, her daughter Debra and her grandson Adam. Wyn was a member of Shooters Hill Golf Club for over 50 years and continued to be a part of the Club even after she stopped playing in 2021. Like Jim, Debra and Adam, Wyn followed Chelsea FC and eagerly awaited the weekend so she could watch the Premier League games on TV, often with Debra and Adam. Sadly, the Chelsea result didn't always please Wyn!
Wyn will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her but her memory will always live on in our hearts.

It was a pleasure, a privilege and a joy to have known Wyn.
A special lady with a lovely bright smile and a caring heart.
Whenever we met Wyn was always so welcoming and wanting to know what was happening in our lives.
Wyn was a real comfort and support to me when my husband Ron was diagnosed with dementia. She will be missed very much but the happy memories live on. Bless you Wyn.
