I have not been able to find the words to express my sorrow. Liz was the youngest of us Five, a bonus baby born to our shocked but
thrilled parents, twin sister to Kathy...
She may have been the youngest, but she showed us all what courage is, facing everything that was thrown at her with strength of mind and a pragmatic attitude... she defeated cancer 3 times and put on a brave face for us while she endured many months of isolation to fight the awful Aplastic anaemia. I know she hated not seeing us, as did we.
She fought so hard, she was so brave.
I will miss her wisdom, her kindness, her love for us all, her glorious hair...
We were all blessed to have her in our lives....

I was deeply shocked when I heard about the premature passing of Liz. She was a very fine person who was instrumental in my obtaining full-time employment at Dudley MBC. I will always think of her with great fondness and appreciation.
