Patrick Nelson (28 May 1927 - 8 Nov 2023)

In loving memory of Pat Nelson who sadly passed away on 8th November 2023. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Pat had a varied life from his early days in Ascot, time spent in Jamaica and marketing jobs in the London Area with Jeyes, Mullards and United Glass. He married Jill (Julia) in 1952 and they became lifelong lovers; perhaps the loss of both of their mothers at an early age made their relationship and family life all the more important. After living in Loughton, Essex, Woking and Guildford, they moved to Shere village in 1976. Their years in Shere proved to be some of their happiest and most rewarding times; engaging in many roles and activities they developed strong friendships in the village. Pat leaves his two children, Tim and Wendy, four grandchildren, and he knew six great grandchildren.
The British Heart Foundation has been chosen as his charity as a thank you for the many treatments he had for heart and circulatory conditions that enabled him to live his long life.
