It was a privilege to know you Dave, I am sorry I could not be there to say goodbye, but I send all my love & best wishes to Linda & all the family.

David was an extremely kind & truly inspirational person. We met him when our son Harry joined Battyford football. Harry played alongside Dave’s wonderful daughter Olivia.
He made such a difference to so many children & worked extremely hard for this club . He was very fair & always looked out for the kids who were at a disadvantage.
Dave organised Dads & kids weekends away camping , making sure everyone had a fantastic time.
He will be missed but never forgotten

Not seen you in such a long time and then there you and Linda were walking along the road in Grassington early this year - what a lovely funny laughing chat we all had just like we had seen you both last week - you’ll be very much missed but you’ve raised your kids well and Linda will be looked after - sleep tight x
