I couldn't believe it when I heard you had passed I thought you were going to go on forever. I will always remember you for just being you! Always had a smile and a chat and a cuddle to give. You have never changed and never would anyone want to you too. Definitely a character to all that knew you. Will always be in my heart and my thoughts. Sleep well uncle Elly xxx

I can only reiterate the comments that have been said below. I always remember you from the times you visited Terry at Redgrave, from meeting up with Lisa and then as I grew older in the pubs, serving you in the Cross Keys and White Horse. The last time I saw you (a few weeks back) in the Greyhound, you asked how I was, could you give me a hug and shook Steve’s hand, after the hug, “you said, you’ve made my day”. You never changed in the time I knew you - you loved your family, a good sing a long and a nice a pint. You were truly one of the best. I hope you rest in peace and your family find comfort in knowing you were regarded highly by so many people. All my love x

Oh elly, when I heard the sad news of you passing, was a very sad day. They say that they take the best ones early, elly you were one of the best. I’m so glad you came to my house only a few weeks ago, so we got to have a cuppa and a chat. You always had a smile on your face and a time to chat. Nothing was too much for you, there should be a lot more people like you in this world, then it would be a much better place to live. kindness is you, a heart of gold is you, you will be missed by many.
I will treasure my memories of you for ever, too many drunken night in the pub, a chat over the fence, you coming back from the pub and coming Nextdoor to take us round to yours for drinks, until silly hours.
Sleep tight elly you will always be in my thoughts xx
