Mark's memorial service will be at 14:45 on Friday the 27th of October 2023. It will be celebrated at West Norwood Crematorium, Norwood Road, West Norwood, London SE27 9JU. Closest station is West Norwood out of Victoria or Tulse Hill on the Thameslink service.
Everyone that knew him is welcome. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, no need for black. Flowers family only. If you would like, please consider contributing to the charities listed here - they reflect Mark's past giving. We will be having a drink to celebrate his life after the service - details to follow.

Dear Mark,
I will miss you terribly. We have known each other and worked together in China & Glass since 2007. You joined Peter Jones in October and I joined in November. A sad loss to the John Lewis Partnership. You were respected by your colleagues including myself. A hard worker and very conscientious. I will miss our chats about politics such as Northern Ireland and Brexit. I love the way you say what you think. You have a great sense of humour and always make me laugh. You will be missed by your husband, family and friends. I cried for a few days when I learned of your death. It broke me completely. You and your husband Matthew were made for each other. Saying goodbye isn't for us. Instead, I will say that I look forward to seeing my friend again, each time I am reminded of Mark through a phrase, a joke, even an article of clothing.
