On 9th September, unexpectedly at home, Eddie aged 80 years of Silsden, formerly Steeton. Beloved husband of Irene, dearly loved dad of Paul and Linda, father in law of Gillian and Alasdair, much loved grandad of Tom, Harry, Jessica Gemma and Ella, great grandad of Grayson, much loved brother, uncle and a dear friend to many.

So sorry to hear of Eddie's sudden passing a lovely man always smile and cheery hello. My sincere condolences to his wife, family and friends. I am unable to attend his service on Tuesday unfortunately I will certainly be thinking of him and you all.

Sending our sincere condolences to Irene and all the family. Eddie was a gentleman who at work would assist anyone. When he retired he would always stop for a chat. His work at Silsden FC was always recognised by the club members. RIP Eddie. David & Lesley x
