In loving memory of Pete Marchant who sadly passed away on 17th September 2023. The dearly loved husband of Eileen, dear dad of Julie and Shelley and father-in-law of Glen, also, the much loved grandad of Grace, Vie, Molly and Martha, brother of Jim, Mike, Colette, Nick and the late Paul and a treasured brother-in-law and uncle.
Pete was a much loved teacher and headteacher at Bentley New Village, Willow Junior School, South Cantley Middle School, Thorne Northfield Middle School and Saltersgate Junior School.
At Pete's request, his funeral is to remain private, however, his family would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and understanding.

So very sad and sorry. Pete was the head at Saltersgate Juniors when I became head at the infant school in 2004. I will be eternally grateful for his support, mentorship and advice over the years I worked alongside him. A true gentleman, kind and considerate, a wonderful colleague and an outstanding headteacher. Thankyou Pete. It was a real pleasure to know you.
