Some memories:
I vividly remember when your Dad had his 50th birthday party at the bungalow, it was arranged for a stripper-gram  to turn up - it was a female "police constable”, well that’s another story.
At your Mum’s 50th (held at the Upton pub) apparently it was quite noisy and some neighbours near!!! to the pub complained and the police eventually turned up. By then Pauline was enjoying herself and she thought that your Dad had “arranged a stripper gram” but after she had knocked his helmet/cap off it was realised that they were the “Proper Police”
It got sorted and the police went on their way. Great night.
Other memories were of both your Mum and Dad, we were going to a Car rally, it must have been late 63 or early 64 Your Dad was navigating and we somehow got lost or (misread the clues) around Stokenchurch so we ended up having a picnic lunch on the side of the road.
Both Sally and myself always knew when we open the envelope at Christmas it was from your Mum because it always had “To Special Friends”  and of course both your Mum and Dad were our Special Friends and they will always be remembered with affection.
Sorry we will be unable to attend on Friday, but our thoughts will be with you, Michael and your families.
We have made a donation in Memory of Pauline.
