In loving memory of Judith Keeling who sadly passed away on 8th August 2023

Judy was born in Bradford but moved with the family to live in Stoke-on-Trent where she attended Harpfields Infant and Junior Schools then the Orme Girls’ School, Newcastle under Lyme.
She was the second of four children. The youngest, Simon, died in 1978 but she is survived by her sisters Elizabeth (Lib) and Pat.
After school Judy went to Art College in Stoke then on to a Jewellery and Silversmithing course in Birmingham. She had her first jewellery workshop at The Seren Centre, Bala, Wales and later moved her home and business to Haworth, near Bradford, where she lived, worked and was very much part of the community for the last 40 years of her life.

Thank you to all Judy’s friends and family members who have been in touch to offer condolences. Some of you have asked about making a donation in her memory, which you can do on this obituary site. Please note that the first charity mentioned is The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, not just Game and Wildlife as it appears on the page!

Judy was a kind and thoughtful person who lived next door to me in Stoke On Trent. She and her 2 sisters went to the Orme Girls High in Newcastle Under Lyme and from there she went to train in Birmingham as a Silversmith. Donation of £20 to the Sue Ryder Charity in memory of Judy, From Barbara Cliff.
