A fellow 'HoD' and good friend. Rob was well respected and liked and I am so pleased we managed to get back in touch after retirement. Happy memories.

Rob was a great and generous friend and colleague over more than 20 years. I fondly remember sharing many a drink with him and staff days out at York, Liverpool, Stratford-upon-Avon and other places. He will be sadly missed.
