I was so shocked when I heard of Denise's passing,(I only found out yesterday) It has been a few years since I spoke to Denise, as unfortunately we lost touch.
I knew Denise from 12 years of age from Park Hall School, she was actually a friend of a friend, but Den being Den came up and just started talking to me!!! And we became good friends.
We worked together at the Remembrance Club, went to Dublin, Manchester, Alton Towers and Liverpool, and of course spent many weekends going out with Myself and Kelly Tonks.
I went to Uni in Liverpool and of course Den came to see me regular, and what can I say we carried on the fun up here.
I'm sorry we lost touch, but mine and my husbands Paul's thoughts are with Martin, Jess, Colin and Elaine. I know how much she was a lover of life and experiences.
All our thoughts go out to you all. God bless Den. xxxxx

Each day I read the messages and the pictures posted more than once. I seem to get more upset and sad when I read some of the wonderful things that have been written. To those who do not know me I am Denise’s dad Colin,s big sister, therefore Denise’s aunt. Denise was truly a lovely girl. It is still only just sinking in that we won’t see you again, and that breaks my heart. I am so sad that Jess at such a young age has lost her mom, but know that Martin will give her the love for two of them and that Elaine and Col will love and care for her more than ever (if that is possible!)
