Margaret Ann Whawell (1 May 1947 - 4 Aug 2023)

In loving memory of Margaret Ann Whawell who sadly passed away on 4th August 2023. Our mum was the glue that bound our family together, she absolutely loved it when we was altogether you could see the pride and joy on her face , it had a glow and her eyes would light up she just doted on us, mum didn’t have things easy in her life she had to work hard to provide for us when unfortunately she parted ways with our dad! We moved back to Mansfield and along came Tony, lol the fun times began as my mum would argue black and blue with him when he tried to tell us off , you see nobody and I mean nobody could tell her precious children off ! Only her , she protected us to the end , all the kids in the neighbourhood would confide in my mum she became second mum to many, this continued throughout her life , we had many fun times back in the day , then finally mum and Tony went to the moon and stars in bulwell , this became there home for many years , she loved it had many friends here many good times too , and some heartbreaks too , lastly mum and Tony retired finally our hard working mum can relax , unfortunately Tony passed away 10th July 2019 , this had a bigger impact on our mum more than she realised, for all the moaning and complaining about him , she missed him so much and realised just how much this man meant to her, and just how much she loved him, Covid hit and this had such a big impact on her physically and mentally, this is just some of the life of our mum , now she as the next chapter to experience with all the angels up there in the great big sky, mum goodnight and God bless xxxxx love you forever and always
