Hello everyone,
As you may or may not know, our dear dad passed away last week. His funeral is going to be held at Barham Crematorium on Tuesday 12th September at 2pm.
There will be a wake following this at The Phoenix Club (Crabble Hill, Dover, CT17 0QD).
Anyone who knew my dad (which I know is quite a few!) is welcome to attend either or both.
As it will be a celebration of dad's life and one of his biggest loves, the colour scheme for the funeral will be Leeds United shirts (if you're a supporter... or even if you're not!), or alternatively in Leeds United colours (white, yellow and blue).
For anybody who is unable to make the service but still wants to watch, it is going to be streamed online as well. Please get in touch with me and I can provide you with the details to watch along (it can also be watched afterwards if it suits).
Finally, rather than flowers, we would prefer donations to Pilgrim's Hospice who looked after dad (and my mum and family) so wonderfully in the last few weeks. There will be a donation box at Barham and then at the Phoenix Club, but if you prefer to do it online you can do via this website (click Donate Now).

I have had the honor of working with John for the last 20 years. He was the best of men, caring, hard working and simply put, the most honest person I have known. His impact on all that have known him cannot be overstated. He will be hugely missed. My love to you all, David x

I am so very sorry to read of your loss, your Mum and Dad have been friends for nearly 50 years .
