  • Dear Alanna, So sorry to trouble you again, but just to say it's my final day with stock in the shop tomorrow. If it's okay with you I will put the remaining item in the charity shop and the cash from one item sold as a donation via this page. Let me know if this is okay with you. Sorry to contact this way, but I don't know Evie's number nor yours. With kind regards Felicity at COLLECTABILITY in Great Torrington.

Margaret was such a kind loving and open person. I remember first meeting her at car race meetings with my brothers and her husband Alan in the early 70s. I was a quite shy teenager and she immediately made me feel at ease. In later life we shared a love of gardens and horticulture, my last meeting with her being at her beloved Rosemoor RHS Gardens in 2021. She will be missed by everyone who's lives were touched by her warmth.

I feel so lucky to have known Margaret, as she inspired us with her cheerful nature, her jolly chatter and her energetic love of life.

My brothers, our wives and Christine were sharing memories of Margaret, on our Family Zoom call, the other day.

Paul had the same first memory of Margaret, in about 1971/72, as I had; when she came along with Alan to support our brother, Jonny, in an Autocross race at Knebworth. She threw herself fully into the Support team role, on that first day.

Funny enough, she has been a fabulous member of our wider Family Team, for the 50 years since then.

We’ll miss you Margaret, however, your inspiration lives on. X
