In loving memory of Robert Michael Veness who sadly passed away on 6th August 2023.
Robert was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma around 18 months ago, and up until recently had not suffered any major symptoms. However in the past three months he had got quite poorly and was undergoing chemotherapy. Whilst in hospital he picked up pneumonia and with no immune system he couldn't fight it.
On this page you can find details of the funeral for those who would like to attend.
Instead of flowers, there is a link below to a fundraising page. All the money raised will be donated to the Follicular Lymphoma Foundation, who are a leading charity striving towards developing a cure.

So Many great memories with you Rob, be they football, Cricket(a game you re-introduced me to after many years absence) related or just a few pints in one of the local hostelries along with the bag of scratchings. I’ll miss you Pal, Now you’re forever Albion! RIP

He was a great mate from around 14 years of age . Lots fun .footy games and darts beer drinking and camping . Great memories . Hope they have scratchings wherever you go . Xx
