My uncle Mick O’Hara lived across the road from Johnny and Mabel for many years. He used to tell me about the many happy memories of all the good times that they shared together. Sending lots of love and prayers to all Mabel’s family.

We may not have shared blood, but we shared a strong bond. Mabel was so loving to us all and our children. Her face always lighting up when we saw her and to have had a gentle cuddle from her filled our hearts. A truly remarkable beautiful lady who showed us all how to be compassionate and loving. Her bravery, humility and the twinkle in her eyes and her gentle humour will stay with us always. So blessed to have been able to love her and share her love

Mabel was a gracious lady and was incredibly proud of her family. Quite happy to take the back seat and watch as her beloved John and her children took center stage. Knowing she is now reunited with John brings some comfort. We as a family have so many fond memories and she will never be forgotten and always remembered with a smile. Love always Jan and Frank

Words cannot express the love I have and the pride I have to have been able to call you my Mam. You were the best Mam anyone could ever have wished for. You taught me kindness, patience and how to hold on to my strong moral compass. You taught me to always be true to myself, and to remember that family is the most important and precious gift any of us could be given. Mam you were an angel among men, an inspiration and beloved by all who were lucky enough to have you in their lives. I will miss you forever, but I take comfort knowing that you are reunited with my wonderful Daddy, and up there together you will shine down and guide us all with you love. Love you forever and always xx
