I was about 10 and remember first meeting Derick in, I think, 1970, when he moved to Calstone and started working with my father. Many happy memories of seeing them together on the farm, up by the monument with the sheep, or when there were pigs at Calstone. A kind and decent man.

Thanks, Alan. I remember meeting you occasionally too. I don't know where you are these days, but you will be welcome to come to Dad's funeral. Beverley Barton (nee Eadon) now living in West Yorkshire.
