Adrian sadly passed away on 17 June 2023 after being unwell for some time suffering with Parkinson’s disease.
He was one of three children born to Ernie and Lily Edwards and lived most of his life in London. He spent his working life with the BBC Record Library and theatre and music were his passion, building up an amazing personal collection of records and theatre memorabilia over the years. His vast knowledge was acknowledged by his colleagues and he remained friends with many of them after retiring from the BBC.
Adrian had many happy years with his partner, Geoffrey. They liked to entertain and there was always fun and laughter when they were around. Adrian has been described as charming, sociable and loyal and he will be very much missed by his friends and family.
