I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing and I know he will leave a huge gap in his family. I knew Dave first when i joined the Liberal Club Quiz team in 1995 with my late husband and he became a good friend, particularly to Derek, sharing a love of cricket and birding. I will always remember his dry sense of humour and he was a steady friend after Derek died. My love and condolences to Elaine, Sarah, Vicky and all the family. Sadly, I am not able to attend Dave's funeral next Thursday, but I will be with you in spirit. RIP Dave x
