On June 18 2023 our beautiful Mum gained her angel wings and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Before becoming unwell with Alzheimer’s Mum was very independent, she enjoyed a full and active life.
Although her last few years have been troubled by the illness, she remained strong and positive.
She’s always been there for each and every one of us and we’re eternally grateful.
Mum, you’ll be so missed, but forever remembered 💓

Donation and tribute message on behalf of mums long time work colleague and friend Nina Atfield.
Althea was an excellent carer and team player.
I will always have fond memories of her.
I didn't know her outside of work, only how kind and thoughtful she was to the residents, and willing to do what was best for them, she was a good egg.
There aren't many that made such a big impact but Althea was one of them.
She made an impression on me and I will miss her, she was so much more than just ‘Staff’

To the family of Althea I'm so sorry for your loss .. I have known your Mum for many years through working at Clinton Cards in Redhill . I left there 10yrs ago but did keep in touch with her now and again . She was a lovely lady and we had many a laugh together. May she rest in peace with her dear Alan . X

Hi Denise, Darren and Nigel, many fond memories of Auntie Althea and Uncle Alan of course, they were just the best to me when i was young too. Little did i know on 2.1.2000 was i to go and work with Althea at the RNIB college in Redhill, where we had some laughs and where i met my wife Sarah who loved working with Althea....big apologies from me i wont be able to attend Althea funeral, I've just gone and broken my elbow(again 8 years ago)| and i had surgery this week, physio will take another month or more. i will be in touch, all our love and prayers Paul, Sarah, Reuben and Lois XXXXX

Hi Paul thanks so much for your lovely message and we’re sad you won’t be able to come but hope it doesn’t take too long for you to recover, sounds painful. Mum always talked about working with you and Sarah at the RNiB and how she loved working there. We all have fond memories of our childhoods and seeing our cousins, happy times.
