In loving memory of Jill Agar who sadly passed away on 13th June 2023.
Only beloved child of Alfred Simpson & Norah Agar, Jill grew up at Eastfield Farm in Haxby and then went on to own Villa Farm on Wigginton Road.
With a passion for fast Mercedes, cattle, horses, hunting and all things agricultural, Jill lived life to the max.
With 4 children, Richard, Sue, Jimmy & Jo, Jill was a wonderful mother. Full of fun and mischief she went on many adventures with them.
She met her husband Tony when he was a traffic policeman and pulled her over for speeding in Leeds. They married in 1990 and with Tony came his children Karen & Andrew who Jill embraced as her own.
With 9 grandchildren, Toni, Sophie, Chloe, Joey, Dan, Archie, Rudy, Sonny and Beatrice. Great grandchildren Tide, Blaise, Nyx, Daniel & Bethany.
A farmer in her own right, she handled the very male dominated world of farming and cattle markets with ease making great life long friends along the way.
Hunting twice a week with the Middleton Hunt kept both her and Tony busy song with their rare breed pigs.
Moving to Prospect Farm in Huby in 1999, Jill poured her heart in to renovating the property.
Jill was loved by so many and always will be. She will be missed beyond words.
