In loving memory of Marjorie Donkin who sadly passed away on 30th May 2023
Mum was born 2nd March 2023 daughter of a tailor from Barrow in Furness , they moved to Leeds when Mum was young .
Mum was involved in the trade until 1946 she joined the Women's Land Army who helped keep Britain fed by working on farms.
Through this she moved to Selby and met Dad who was working on a farm at Barlby. Mum and Dad got married in July 1951 and remained a happy couple until Dads death in 2018.
Myself , my sister Alison and my late Brother Michael were well brought up by Mum and Dad and they loved having their Grandchildren Helen, Fiona and Rachel with them and now having Great grand children, Zeke , Xavier and Selena.
