On Saturday 17th June at 12 noon, please join us to celebrate Helen's life at St Peter's Church in Williton. This will be followed by a burial at St Decuman's Church in Watchet at approximately 1pm. After, there will be a funeral reception at the Wyndham Arms in Williton. Please note that the Wyndham Arms does not have a car park, but parking is available by St Peter's Church, the main car park in Williton or by the community hospital.

If you plan on attending, it would be most appreciated if you could use the "attend funeral" button at the bottom of this page, to give her family an idea of numbers.

Helen's favourite colours were purple, lilac and pink and we would like to invite attendees to wear something of these colours, should they wish.

Helen passed away on 24th May 2023, surrounded by her close family - her long-term partner, Stephen; her son, Robert; and stepdaughters, Lisa and Andrea.

Helen was much loved by her family and in the local area, where she was involved in a number of craft and other community groups. Before her retirement, Helen previously worked at Staffordshire Probation Service, where she was highly respected.

Instead of flowers, her family would really appreciate donations to St Margaret's Hospice in Taunton. The staff were of great comfort to Helen and her family during her end-of-life care. Their support truly went above and beyond and really made such a positive difference during this difficult time.

Donations can be made to the JustGiving Fundraising campaign using the link on this page.

There will also be a collection on the day of the service for those who may find this more convenient.

Her family welcomes you to write your own memories and tributes to Helen using the "write a message" below.

Many thank you for all your kind words and support.

I am so shocked to hear this news. I went to grammar school with Helen and we were BFs almost from Day One. We lost touch after that but, amazingly, met again by chance when she was working in Lichfield in the Civill Service. Sincere condolences to family and friends.

We have only known Helen since our Son Andrew married Lisa, Helen's stepdaughter, so a few short years.
Having enjoyed some Christmas celebrations and other times in her company it was easy to see what a lovely lady she was.
Very serene and intelligent, altogether a very beautiful person.
You will be missed. ❤️
