Peacefully at home, with family at his side, on May 26th aged 72 years, Peter. The dearly loved husband of Jocelyn, adored dad of David and Holly, loving father-in-law of Gerry. A cherished grandad, beloved brother and brother-in-law, dear uncle and friend of many. Forever in our hearts.
Family and friends please meet on Tuesday June 20th for service in Sunderland Crematorium at 10:30am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation. A donation box will be available at the crematorium. Please join the family afterwards in Hetton Lyons Cricket Club for refreshments.

Sorry it's taken so long to write something about you. I am so grateful that you let me into your family and welcoming me. You always said if I needed something to just ask, you gave me advice when needed thankyou for being a great father in law I am going to miss you. I will do my best to look after holly Joss David and all the children thanks for being there.

To my wonderful dad, I can't thank you enough for the many happy memories and love we have shared my entire life. It still does not feel real that I will never get to see you again! I love you so much, you really were my hero. I miss you so much. I will always look after mum and the family the best I can. I hope I make you proud. Keep shining bright and keep smiling as you always say to us.

To all who knew Pete.. we had some great and funny holidays with Pete and joss .both of you always had a smile and good laughs always ensued . I loved Pete we got on with each other and I have some good memories over the decades .I will miss you Pete your a 1 of a kind person and personality fun happy memories I will never forget.
