Frank Howard went to be with the Lord on 18th May 2023, aged 84.

Originally from West Drayton, Middlesex, Frank moved to Tenby in 1975 with wife Scilla and their young family to manage the family-owned VG store in Trafalgar Square. From there the family moved to The Green in 1979 which remains the family home.

Over the years Frank became a familiar figure in town, through amateur dramatic productions in Tenby and Saundersfoot, through his involvement with St Mary’s and Deer Park Baptist Church and latterly The Old Chapel in Lower Frog St., but most particularly through his role as Traffic Warden until his retirement in 2003. In later years he volunteered at Tenby Church in Wales VC Primary School, where he delighted in helping children with their reading.

He will be greatly missed by wife Scilla, sons Matthew and Christian and all the family who will remember him as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

The funeral service will take place at Old Chapel, Tenby at 1.30pm on 5th June 2023, followed by a brief service of committal at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, starting at 3.15pm. Family flowers only, with donations in memory, if desired, to MAF and Tear Fund via E. C Thomas & Son Funeral Directors, Zoar Chapel Funeral Home, Llanteg, Narberth SA67 8QH.

So sorry to read this! I so enjoyed Franks company when he used to come into Tenby Junior School to listen to the children reading! Sending sympathy to Scilla and her family! X
