When I think of my beautiful cousin Lindsay I always think of her fabulous smile and smiling eyes which literally lit up the room. Her warm heart and truly caring nature plus her love of animals made us kindred spirits. she was such an easy and relaxed person to be around . We didn’t see each other often but her open door made impromptu visits easy for a catch up and great fun !

Sending all our best to you as you farewell Lindsay on Friday. We have very fond memories of our visits and talks with Lindsay over the years. She struck me as a nurturing soul, both for animals and for each and every one of her family members. Lindsay had a strength of character that was embedded in everything she did. I am happy to have had the privilege to know her, if only a few years. Love to you all, Carianne, Eamonn, and boys. xxoo (Bex sister)

To Tony, Andrew, James all the family,

I was very sad to hear of your loss.

The picture you have posted is the very same smile I remember, although of course in my mind’s eye it is of a time so many years ago and Lindsay is much younger and we were kids. Kids being a nuisance more often than not I imagine, but I always felt welcome. I remember Lindsay making sure we were fed and just breezing through the madness – well most of the time, if I remember rightly.

She seemed to be able to lighten the atmosphere in the room.

As the years passed, and the family’s moved away and the kids moved away further still, it was so lovely on our last meeting that that same feeling remained.

I have so many fond memories of Chesterfield Road, trips to Brighton, the coast (and the races of course) and Lindsay being the consummate hostess to crazy packed houses at Banstead.

I don't know where time goes, but there’s never enough time is there.....

Sending you my love and sincerest condolences from Canada.
Nathan

Tony and family, so very sorry to hear this news . We spent many a time on the farm sorting out various animals ,lambing , the lamb castrations and cow cases . She was so sunny and happy whenever I saw her and was a very good stock person, caring for all under her care to the nth degree . She has gone before her time and she will be sadly missed by her family friends and associates . Sending love ,hugs and sympathy Trish Cornwell Vet
