I also have very fond memories of Street Pastoring with Sheila. She was such a solid, dependable Street pastor who brought a wealth of practical nursing experience alongside a wicked sense of humour onto the streets in the early hours of the morning. Her knowledge and wisdom around mental health issue was invaluable.
I remember visiting her at home after she had had to stop street pastoring - and that wicked sense of humour was always there - she was a lovely lady with such a big caring and compassionate heart and I know will be missed hugely by family and friends. She was so proud of her beautiful dog who she had patiently trained and whose name escapes me. … and that same love transcended everyone she met. It was a privilege to have Street Pastored alongside her.

Such lovely memories of Sheila. I patrolled with her as a Street Pastor and she was so compassionate and warm towards those we met and was able to offer time and support to those who needed it. I remember her having a kip in her motorhome before driving back at 4 in the morning!
