Sue Spilsbury of Wembdon (formerly School Teacher of Cannington Primary School) passed away peacefully at home with her family around her on 29th March 2023 aged 71 years. A loving Wife to Nick, devoted Mum to Kate, Jane and David and adored Grandma. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Cannington on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 at 11am followed by cremation. Family flowers please. It seems only fitting to be writing this on ‘hump’ day (an expression learned from Sue).

I was lucky enough to work with Sue for many years at Cannington, she was such a beautiful person. Many lunchtimes were spent laughing together, her humour was infectious. She would proudly talk about her children and tell us about adventures she shared with Nick… special memories.
