Mavis was a founder member of the Callington Open the Book group & her gentle experience and enthusiasm were much valued. We were all sad when she had to give it up.

Mavis, passed away on Monday 27th February 2023, at Bethany Christian home, Plymouth, supported by her family, aged 88 years. Loving mother of Kathy, Judith, Jacquie and Matthew. A Service of thanksgiving will be held at Callington Methodist Church, on Tuesday 25th April at 10.30am. Family flowers only please. Donations in Lieu for Marie Curie & Guide dogs, may be made by retiring collection or by cheque payable to the charity and sent to the funeral director, F.D. Hall & Son Ltd, Tre Ober, Upton cross.
