Peacefully in St Cuthbert’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family on April 4th aged 74 years, George (Jake). The dearly loved husband of the late Betty. A devoted dad of Paula, Ann and Lorraine. A loved father-in-law, uncle, friend to many and a treasured granda and great granda. Friends please meet on Friday April 21st for a service in Sunderland Crematorium at 11.00am. People are encouraged to wear an item of purple in tribute to Jake. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for the work of St Cuthbert’s Hospice.
