Steve sadly passed away on March 10, 2023 at the age of 63 after a short illness, surrounded by his family, at his home in Wall Heath.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Julie. He was a proud Dad to two children: Sophie and Alex, and Grandpa “Pops” to Jacob.
Steve lived life with positivity. He was a selfless and kind man who always put others first. He looked for the good in each person and every situation–and usually found it. His endless Dad jokes will be forever missed.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the Palliative and Community Nursing Teams for their care and compassion, and also thanks to family friends for their condolences and kind words.
The funeral service and cremation will take place at Gornal Wood Crematorium DY3 2RL on Monday 17 April 2023 at 2.50 pm. A reception will follow at Himley Cricket Club DY3 4LB and all are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. Please wear what you fancy.
In lieu of flowers, his family is gratefully accepting donations to the Midlands Air Ambulance, a charity Steve supported for several years.

A true Gent and a cracking friend, the banter and your sense of humor will be missed but the friendship and laughs will last a lifetime. Condolences to Julie and family.
