I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Pat. She and Jim were good friends of my late parents, and were in fact instrumental in bringing my mum and dad together, setting them up on a blind date in the 1950s, and I think Jim was best man at their wedding. I kept in touch with Pat via Christmas and Easter cards after the loss of my mum 10 years ago, and she would always write a little note to let me know how she was getting on. May I pass on love and condolences to the family.
