Dearly beloved friends, it is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we must regretfully inform you of the passing of our dear Anne-Marie Rooney. Loved and treasured by so many, a devoted mum, gran, great gran, sister and auntie to so many. Marie touched the hearts of anybody who knew her, she always had a smile and time for everyone she met.
Marie's funeral service will take place on Thursday 2nd of March at Martyrs Chapel at Woodside Crematorium Pailsey at 12pm followed by the burial at Inchinnan cemetery. We as a family would like to invite you to afterwards to the Eriskyne where we will tell stories and reminisce about our wonderful dear Marie, who loved to enjoy a cuppa tea and a blether among family and friends.

In loving memory of Anne-Marie Rooney who sadly passed away on 19th February 2023 in The Royal Alexandra Hospital aged 74. Marie dedicated the last 49 years to raising her children and grandchildren, she so fiercely protected and loved us all more than anything else in this world. She was also a very much loved, loyal and fantastic friend to many and will be sadly missed by all. She was the most kindhearted angel to ever walk this earth and would always put the needs of other before herself whatever the cost. She will be the brightest star in the sky.

Please Note, The service will be held at 12pm in the Martyrs Chapel at Woodside Crematorium. The chapel is as you enter the gates on the Crematorium grounds on the right in the old church.

Marie was a lovely friend and neighbour. We came to Erskine at the same time with our children who were just babies. Loved meeting her after I moved and it was great having a catch-up. Love to all the family you r in my prayers. X

Many years ago I worked in the hotel with Anne-Marie and we always stopped and chatted in the years after we both left. She was a lovely person, so warm and sincere. Sending you kind thoughts on your sad loss.
