On hearing the very sad news about Audrey, her voice, smile and wicked sense of humour immediately came to mind. Over many years, on a regular basis, we shared stories as we crossed paths at the Family Record Centre, Public Record Office, London Metropolitan Archives or Society of Genealogists. She was a great ambassador for genealogy and will be missed by many, especially her family.
Rest in peace Audrey.

Gillian and I will very much miss seeing Audrey. Our paths will cross no more. Apparently I was responsible for suggesting she dress up as Jane at a WW2-themed Federation Conference! My sincere sympathies to friends and family.
