This was Shirley's 80th birthday when she was delighted to discover that Ian had been responsible for the design of her cooker! So cue proud photos taken next to it! Such a joyful day, full of laughs and friendship.

As a gift to Shirley for her 80th birthday, we drove to Maastricht to see Andre Rieu. It was totally wonderful and towards the end they played some tunes from My Fair Lady. Shirley suddenly started to sing and all those on our table were amazed at her voice and asked to sing some more, which she did. Magical.
