In loving memory of Bryan Norton, who sadly passed away on 26th of January 2023 after a 3 year battle with colon cancer.

Born to Thomas and Susan Norton in Chapel Street Coseley. Bryan had 2 sisters Linda, who was older than him and Sue, who was younger. They all grew up together in Coseley and later moved to Park Fields. Bryan then went on to serve in the royal artillery army for 3 years as a gunner & a chef. He then went on to meet his loving partner Joan. After 4 years of love they decided to get married at Holy Trinity Church in sedgley and went on to have 3 children; Steven their son and Sharon and Lavina their two daughters.

Bryan was an extremely hard working man, he worked for over 50 years in Steel work. He lived purely for his family & to provide the best life for them which he proudly achieved. He had all sorts of hobbies, the main one being woodwork. He was devoted to making a variety of things for family members including, bird houses, stools, tables, shelves anything his heart desired. Bryan loved birds, particularly Canaries. He once had an aviary full of them and he would breed them and show them. He won a first place rosette in 1990 and was put in the local paper to show off his achievement.
Bryan was very artistic and loved to draw and paint, he painted many landscape oil paintings and loved to give them to friends and family for them to proudly display in their own homes.
Due to being a chef in the army he always had a love for cooking - he loved to cook cakes & looked forward to hosting his macmillan coffee morning with his daughter Sharon where he managed to raise just over £900 in the last two years.

Bryan unfortunately got diagnosed with terminal colon cancer in late 2020... He had many ups and downs but always tried his best to remain positive and be his true happy, comical self.

He really was one in a million and would never go without welcoming anyone and everyone into his home with a cup of tea and food.

Bryan was an amazing husband, dad and grandad and friend and will always be loved and missed by all 💙
