It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Lorna Frances Newman (nee Seery) of Norwich and London, UK, and formerly of Ballinderry, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
Lorna passed peacefully on the 20th of January 2023 at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Sadly missed by her daughters Niamh and Aileen, their partners Jim and Chris, her grandchildren Henry and Aoife, her brother John, and her sisters Olivia, Patricia, Berna and Sandra.
Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, Poringland on Friday 24th February at 10am, this will be followed by a Committal Service at Waveney Crematorium at 12 noon which all are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be held at The Royal Oak Public House, Poringland, for those who are not wishing to attend the Committal, The Royal Oak will be open from 11am.
Flowers may be sent or donations if desired are invited for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital , Hethel Ward.
To honour Lorna we will each will wear a splash of green on the day.

So sorry to hear of Lorna’s death. Although we hadn’t met for MANY years I have wonderful memories of all the fun we had in Ballinderry and at the tennis club. RIP.

Sincere condolences to Lorna's daughters n ALL the Seery families. Fond memories from the 60s when my late brothers Barry n Paul tog with Patricia, Lorna n gang would meet up when all the folks were out n we were too young to participate! Rest in peace Lorna n party hard with all my late brothers n sisters.

Heartfelt sympathy to Aileen and Niamh and all the family. It seemed to me that Lorna's eyes were always crinkled up in laughter as she made some wry remark . . She'll be sorely missed.
