Lynda, Laura-Jane, Eleanor, Daniel, Edward, Family and Friends will be celebrating Alan's life at 13:30 hrs on February 6th 2023. We would love to see you in person at West Suffolk crematorium in the Abbey Chapel, but if you are unable to attend in person you are welcome to watch the service live online by visiting: obitus.com and using the username: naje0249 Password: 699992

We request family flowers only please, but in lieu of flowers, should you wish, please donate to the British Heart Foundation.

We will then be holding a wake at Bury St Edmunds Golf Club (Tut Hill, Fornham All Saints, Bury Saint Edmunds IP28 6LG, about 5 mins from crematorium) directly after the funeral, where refreshments will be provided, and we can raise a glass to our big man and be thankful for having him in our lives.

It’s time to say a fond farewell to our ‘Big Man’, the man with the biggest of hearts - how ironic then that it should be your heart that snatched you away from us so cruelly & prematurely. Rest in peace dear friend, until we meet again when I most certainly will have a glass of Merlot in my outstretched hand in recognition of our many years of friendship & in appreciation of introducing me to the fermented grape! Cheers! 🍇🍷😜xx
