In loving memory of Eric Stephen Watson who sadly passed away on 20th January 2023.

Beloved husband to Malvina and incredible father to Colin & Rebecca.

Eric lived an incredible life full of adventures and travels and his positive outlook on life was infectious. He collected many friends along the way from all over the world and luckily got to spend a lot of time with them doing all the things he loved from bowls to Mahjong with a few pints thrown in along the way.

A true Yorkshire gentleman who will be very much missed but never forgotten.

We love you Dad xxx

Eric was a true colleague and friend who I have known for 25 years. He helped me solve many problems over the years especially, in my early career and I have some fond memories of the Titan Building project, and he always executed tasks with a smile. He also gave me some great advice of places to visit with my then new wife Karen when we spent some of our honeymoon in Malaysia. Two excellent charities, The Norris Family.

Sorry I won't be able to make the funeral.
I worked with Eric for over 10 years, a very kind and gentle man. With a heart of gold. We enjoyed a few beers together out of work. Best wishes to all his family

Eric, what can you say about him? Everything really isn't enough. He was the 2nd person I met when I started at " Sheds R Us" in November 1983. I sat across the other side of a communal desk in Production Engineering and we got on immediately. Lovely guy. No side to him at all. What you got from Eric was always solid and reliable. Almost 40 years later I can still see him, hear him and laugh at our many divergences from work that happened in the office. Great times Eric. Thank you dear friend.

Eric will remain forever a much respected colleague and above all a dear and enduring friend. We shared many happy times together both in and outside of the working day.
He was always helpful and generous with his time and appreciation and we always valued his calm wisdom with lovely smile and great humour! A strong man throughout his life regardless of what difficulties faced him and never losing his sense of adventure and fun.
We will miss Eric, remember him always and be forever grateful for the many happy memories we shared with him.
Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Eric's beautiful family; Vina, Colin, Rebecca and Joachin.

"We'll have one more for the road our dear friend".
