Benjamin (John) Jones (16 Jun 1935 - 22 Dec 2022)

In loving memory of Benjamin (John) Jones who sadly passed away on 22nd December 2022

Dad was born & bought up in Stourport on Severn, the eldest child of Gilbert & Winnifred Jones. He had three brothers, Keith, Eric & Barry & a sister Hazel.
He married Mum Barbara in January 1965 & they moved into a brand new house on Ashwood Park, Wordsley where he lived until his death.
They had three children, Linda, Jennifer & Marcus. Unfortunately Marcus passed away in 2004.
Dad worked at IMI Summerfield, later RO Summerfield in Kidderminster before taking redundancy in 1991. He & Mum then opened Topaz Antiques in Market St, Stourbridge.

Dads funeral will be held at Holy Trinity Church Wordsley on 24/01/23 at 11am followed by internment in the churchyard. All welcome. Dad did specify no black to be worn & no flowers.
There will be gathering afterwards at The Lawnswood, Lawnswood Rd, Wordsley.
