Josie Firth (4 Jul 1942 - 4 Jan 2023)

I was always in awe at the adventures Josie went on. From the Himalayas to Kilimanjaro I loved hearing her stories and seeing her souvenirs and pictures. I lucky enough to go on my first hike with her up Skiddaw. I thought when I grew up I would have the adventures Josie had; and I will remember her as and inspiration. Josie was always very kind to us and she will be sorely missed.

Dear Josie a wonderful colleague and a lovely friend to have. I was so fortunate to have you in my life . I remember all the lovely walking holidays we had together. Your lovely wedding to Neville and how happy you were.
Also how you helped and encouraged my son to achieve his goals in scouting. You were always ready to encourage and support those around you but also to have fun.
