In loving memory of Elizabeth Anne Styles who sadly passed away on 22nd December 2022🤍🕊️
Elizabeth was a much loved Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister & Aunt. She dedicated her life to raising Derek & Tara & was an avid Everton FC fan💙🤍if you knew Elizabeth well, you knew not to call or visit her between 12:00-13:00 on a Saturday interrupting Football Focus⚽️Lol! For anybody that may wish to send flowers, please no Red at all as Mum would have nothing red in the house because of her being a loyal Evertonian💙⚽️🤍This would have been Mum’s wishes.
Taken way to soon, never goodbye, until we meet again🤍🕊️🕯️👼🏻

Dear Aunt Lizzie. We rarely saw each other, but we were always in touch somehow - and each Christmas I knew I would get a lovely card from yourself, along with Susan. I will always treasure that connection, alongside the memories of the times we did spent together - such as when you showed me a picture of a yellow bus that I drew as a kid, which you had stuck to the inside of your wardrobe door for years and years!
Until next time, Auntie Liz. x

You were the barmaid at the local pub and played snooker with my Dad and brother. I first met you at my cousin's hen do. Little did I know that you would marry my brother and end up my sister-in-law.You inherited two young children when you married and that takes a special person but you became their mum and they your children. You were a proper mum to them, told them off, took them out, holidays, parents evening's and was there for them. You showed them family life and love. You were most people's go to when in need or when we needed straight talking (because you were very good at that).I will always remember your wicked sense of humour, laugh and the memories I have will stay with me forever. It is so sad how you were taken away so suddenly and before your time but you have left a legacy through your children and grandchildren. My comfort is that you are now reunited with Derek, your parent's and mine. My condolences to all the family.

We were neighbours of Liz at Caroline Gardens. We worked closely with her in 2014 when she served as Chair for the Tenants & Residents Association. We would like to share with you the Elizabeth Anne Styles we came to know.

Liz embraced her TRA Chair role with infectious zest. She brought an unwavering strength of character, care, and commitment.

Liz was a force of nature – imbued with a sharp mind, a skilled straight-talker, an abiding sense of social justice, an impassioned believer that nothing was too good for her neighbours, someone who powerfully made the impossible possible at Caroline Gardens ... all beautifully wrapped in a blend of wonderful wit and wisdom. Liz’s relentless advocacy on behalf of her fellow neighbours was a gift to residents and is her enduring legacy at Caroline Gardens.

We feel blessed to have shared that journey with Liz. We will never forget the tremendous contribution Liz bestowed on all of us at Caroline Gardens.

Liz always spoke so lovingly and proudly of you, her beloved family.

We extend to Liz’s cherished family our Heartfelt Condolences at this time of profound loss. Take good care.

In Loving and Grateful Memory of Elizabeth Anne Styles,
Bryan and Lea Emery

I can’t believe it’s been a week already, it still hasn’t sunk in. I didn’t think it was your time, how could it have been when you had so much more to give. I couldn’t have asked for a better mum-in-law. Straight talking and always to the point with a wicked sense of humour , I will really miss our chats. Well until a soap was about to start then I would get lodged until the next time ;) As for a Nan , what can I say, thank you, there are so many happy memories of you and the kids , such a wonderful Nanny and they are devastated to lose you so soon. Thank you for all of the support over the years and for the laughs and happy memories you leave us with. It’s hard to imagine how it will be without you here. What I will promise you is that you will live on in our memories and hearts forever. Until we meet again , I love you, Jo xxx
