No farewells were spoken no time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why.
We arrived in the village at the same time and became friends. Long chats and lots of laughter. We both had the same sense of humour and could tell what each was thinking with a look or a glance. I’ll l miss our outings to the Village Cafe and the Four Village Horticultural Society. I’ll see you one day and your beloved Dick, whom you spoke of so much, we’ll drink a large Bombay Sapphire & Tonic xxxx
