I worked with James back in the late 80’s in an office in my home town. One day we were both in the front office and this woman walked past the window and waved at me. James saw this and looked at me and said “Cor who’s that?” I looked back at him and replied “James that’s my Mum!” I will always remember you James and this story! RIP ole boy and wherever you are I hope there is a plentiful supply of booze and cigars!

We were all so deeply saddened to hear the loss of James to cancer and send our sincerest condolences and love to all the family. I had the utmost admiration for James achievements in the film industry and just recently we were discussing composing some tracks for an upcoming project that he was involved with. Above all, he was a great friend in mutual circles, a gentleman and someone who's company gave so much joy to be in.

God bless you James, the light will always shine upon you.

So devastated to hear of James far too early passing- but so grateful that I shared nearly five intimate years with him when we were students - he was so full of life, love and laughter - memories I will cherish forever - fly high James as you always did.

I had the pleasure of meeting James a few times in Marrakech back in the day. He was a great sport - generous, classy and fun to be around.
I am deeply shocked by his early passing. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
