In loving memory of Stephen Robert Paine who sadly passed away on 8th November 2022, aged 65 years.
Steve will be forever missed by loving wife Joy, their family, friends and colleagues at Kent Police.

Steve, I first met you in 1998 at Sittingbourne, you were never to busy to help anyone and for some reason went on to nickname me fifi trixibell??? Thanks for all the advice along the way. Sorry I cant be there to say goodbye to you as Im abroad xx

Sorry I wont be able to make the funeral due to work commitments. Never an angry word, always supportive, always smiling. A rare breed. I will kick back some time tomorrow evening and listen to Mott the Hoople and reminisce xx

You would hear Steve before you saw him, because he was always giggling like a naughty schoolboy. His personality was as bright as his shirts. A mentor, a colleague, a friend. Sadly missed. Until we meet again poppet x

Over the years Steve was one of the people that could light up a room his personality was contagious and made so many occasions so memorable. steve was so honest and caring and had so much love for the people around him and the things he done, there was so many happy holidays abroad and camping at hogbarns. he will be sorely missed but never forgotten our thoughts and love go out to you all at this difficult time.

I worked with Steve many years ago when I was a prosecutor with the CPS. I have many happy memories and will always remember him
