In loving memory of Geoffrey Smith (Geoff) aged 93 years, who sadly passed away peacefully on 9th November 2022 at the Reigate Grange Nursing Home, Reigate, Surrey.

Geoffrey, formerly of West Wickham, Kent, and widower of Doreen Anne, was a much beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to the Smith and Griffiths families.

Geoffrey was a true gentleman, much respected and regarded, with a wonderful sense of humour.

He will be missed by the family and so many others. Our love to him always, and may he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Geoff's passing. He was one of my father's (John Goode) oldest friends and I remember fondly visiting him and Doreen, Susan and Simon in West Wickham. One year the two families went on holiday together to the Kent coast. In later years, Geoff and my father were both members of the Blackheath Male Voice Choir and the Waistcoat Singers and enjoyed many happy times with them. I will remember Geoff's kindness and quiet sense of humour. My best wishes to all his family at this sad time, Wendy.

  • Thank you Wendy for your kind words. I too remember many good times with yourself, your sister Jenny, John and Barbara. John was indeed one of Geoff’s good friends and going through Geoff’s numerous photographs recently he featured many times, and of course he was my Godfather. Great memories. Kind regards Simon
